1、 Background of the competition

Currently, intelligent sensing technology is reshaping the industrial landscape with unprecedented depth and breadth, changing human life, and leading the core direction of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation.

As the economic center of the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, Ningbo shoulders the national mission of building a "global capital of intelligent manufacturing and innovation". Jiangbei District has a relatively complete industrial chain from chip design, device packaging to system integration, gathering a group of industry leading enterprises deeply engaged in the field of intelligent sensing, such as Keli Sensing, Setwell, CRRC Times, Ningbo Water Meter, Samsung Electric, etc. In 2024, the total output value of intelligent sensing in the district is about 19 billion yuan. The construction of Ningbo (Jiangbei) Sensing Valley has been launched, and the city's first science and technology innovation fund in the field of intelligent sensing has been established. The sensing industry cluster has been selected as a national characteristic industry cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises, and the software and hardware foundation for the development and growth of the intelligent sensing industry is solid.

In this context, the People's Government of Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, in conjunction with relevant municipal departments, is hosting the "China (Ningbo) Intelligent Sensing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition". The purpose of this competition is to discover top projects in the field of intelligent sensing nationwide, gather innovative talents from all over the country, explore the mechanism of "attracting talents through competitions and promoting innovation through competitions", promote Ningbo's industrial characteristics through media publicity and city roadshows, showcase local development advantages, and attract cutting-edge industrialization projects to land.

'Yongdong Intelligent · Sensing and Creating the Future' is not only a slogan, but also an action plan for Ningbo to leverage intelligent sensing as a pivot to promote industrial upgrading.

• Regarding the city：By practicing the concept of "innovation driven development" through competitions, we aim to enhance Ningbo's voice in the innovation landscape of the Yangtze River Delta and assist in the construction of the Sensing Valley in Jiangbei District.
• Regarding the industry：Taking "sensory innovation" as a link, integrating global resources, promoting the deep integration of sensing technology and traditional industries, and cultivating a billion dollar intelligent sensing industry cluster.
• For innovators：Using "Yongdong" as a platform, we provide the technical team with full chain support of "site+funding+service", allowing "innovation seeds" to grow into "industrial trees" on this fertile land of Ningbo.

3、 Organizational structure

4、 Competition requirements

（1） Participants

This competition focuses on sensor technology and its innovative applications, recruiting outstanding entrepreneurial projects and teams with core technological innovation capabilities and development potential from around the world.

• 1. The founder of the participating project team must hold a bachelor's degree or above;
• 2. The participants are entrepreneurial teams composed of enterprises registered outside the administrative area of Ningbo City or teachers from ordinary colleges and universities across the country;
• 3. Core team members (founders, co founders, core technical personnel) need to have relevant technical backgrounds, industry experience, and entrepreneurial abilities;
• 4. The age of the team leader of the participating project is generally not more than 55 years old, and the age of foreign talents of African Chinese descent is generally not more than 65 years old.

（2） Participating projects

• 1. The project should focus on the fields of sensing technology and intelligent manufacturing, including but not limited to new sensors, industrial Internet of Things, high-end scientific instrument equipment and core components, intelligent sensing and system solutions, medical instruments, intelligent equipment manufacturing, robotics, low altitude economy, artificial intelligence, and other fields;
• 2. The participating projects must comply with national laws, regulations, and industrial policies, and be truthful, healthy, legal, and free from any negative information;
• 3. The participating projects shall not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, and the inventions, creations, patented technologies, resources, etc. involved must have clear and legal intellectual property rights or property rights; If it involves intellectual property rights of others, a complete and legally binding written authorization and license from the owner, patent certificate, etc. must be submitted when registering;
• 4. Plagiarism, theft, provision of false materials, or violation of relevant laws and regulations will result in immediate loss of the right to participate and full legal responsibility;
• 5. The participating project should have a complete and feasible business plan, which should include project technology, market prospects, business strategies, funding requirements, team member introductions, and future plans.

5、 Application Materials

• 1. Project Introduction:Enterprise projects require sending company profile and business license; The project has not yet been established, and a basic introduction of the project needs to be sent.
• 2. Team information:Resume of core team members (highlighting industry experience, technical background, and past achievements), proof of founder identity (copy of ID card and passport);
• 3. Business Plan:One WORD+PPT version each, including market pain points, solutions, products, technological advantages, business models, competitive barriers, financial forecasts (3-5 years), financing plans, etc;
• 4. Landing requirements:The requirements for landing and developing in Jiangbei District, Ningbo, such as fund support, factory support, upstream and downstream industrial docking, talent policies, etc., need to be focused and clarified to facilitate subsequent docking and implementation;
• 5. Relevant honors and award certificatesWaiting for relevant materials.
